Apple Butterscotch Bundt Cake
Ingredients:
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 box butterscotch-flavor instant pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter (or margarine)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon (or, to taste)
Preparation:
Combine these ingredients into a large bowl and beat for 3 minutes. Pour the batter into a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake in a pre-heated 350° oven for about 45 minutes (use the toothpick test for doneness). Allow to cool for a few minutes before reversing the cake onto its serving platter.
This yields a pretty, orange-colored cake with a good flavor and aroma. For frosting, choose vanilla or lemon flavors or sprinkle the top with powdered sugar.
