Another great recipe


Butter Icing
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups sifted confectioner's sugar
  • 3 tbsp. cocoa
  • dash of salt
  • 6 tbsp. butter
  • 4 tbsp. cold coffee
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
Directions:
    Sift together the sugar, cocoa, and salt. Cream the butter in another bowl. Then slowly add part of the sugar mixture to the butter bowl. Next add more of the sugar mixture while alternating with the coffee. Lastly, add the vanilla.
    For a vanilla icing, you may omit the cocoa and substitute about 3 tbsp. hot milk for the coffee.
