Cherry Tarte |
| --1 baked pie shell --To put in the pie shell:
Mix the cornstarch and sugar with 1/2 cup of juice fom the can of cherries. Cook over medium heat for 2 minutes. Keep stirring and add the cherries. Heat for another couple of minutes. Then pour in the food coloring and flavoring (if used). Pour the heated sauce over the pudding mixture which is already in the pie shell. Top with whipped cream before serving or add to individual servings as desired. You may wish to substitute the almond flavoring with a small amount of rum. |
