--1 box devil's food cake mix --1 box chocolate instant pudding --4 eggs, beaten --1/2 cup melted butter --3/4 cup coffee, hot or cold, --1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional) |
Beat all these items in a large mixing bowl for at least 3 minutes. Grease and flour a bundt or angel-food cake-baking pan. Sprinkle coconut or chocolate baking powder on the bottom of the pan if wishing to apply a simple topping. Bake at 350 degrees in a pre-heated oven for about 40 minutes (amount of time will depend on your oven--use the toothpick test if unsure of doneness). Cool for a few minutes before reversing the pan on a serving plate. Here's one method: place a plate on top of the bundt pan and then turn the bundt pan and plate upside down. Apply an icing if desired. |
