Another great recipe


Peanut Blossoms

Ingredients:
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 48 candy kisses
Preparation:

    Mix the ingredients in a large bowl. Shape the dough into balls. Roll these in sugar and place on an ungreased sheet pan.
    Bake for 10-12 minutes at 375° and press a candy kiss into each cookie when removed still hot from the oven.
    Allow to cool before serving.
