| Preparation: Mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Separately, cream the butter and sugar before adding the two eggs. Separately again, melt the chocolate in the boiling water. Allow the chocolate to cool before adding it to the butter-and-egg mixture. Then add in the dry ingredients along with the milk and vanilla. Stir until the butter is smoothly blended. Bake in two greased layer pans in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes. You may wish to ice this cake.
