Vanilla Cake

1 cup sugar

1/4 pound butter

3 eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 and 1/2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla

Pre-heat the oven by setting the temperature to 375 degrees.

Mix the listed ingredients and pour into three 8-inch layer cake pans. Bake them for about 20 minutes.

Cool and then assemble and apply any icing you desire.
