Cup and Saucer, with Green and Gold Border Pattern

Elegant teacup and matching saucer featuring a white china base color with border of forest green and gold hues. The teacup handle is in gold, the base of the cup also bears a gold stripe, and the decoration inside the lip is also in gold, showing a pattern of ovals and underneath a pattern of ivy leaves. The green color appears as a stripe around the inside edge of the saucer and the outside rim of the cup.
Sizing: about 5 3/8-inches diameter saucer and 3 1/2-inches diameter cup; the cup is about 2-inches high.
Hallmarks:(1) bottom of saucer: " J. Pouyat" over " Limoges" within a wreath of leaves and ribbon with bow; and "J.P." over "L." over "FRANCE" in green; and "J. McD & S.Co." over "Boston" in gold. (2) bottom of cup: "J.P." over "L." over "FRANCE" in green.
This item is at least 75 years old and may be considerably older. An additional cup and saucer in similarly good condition is also available, but the others from an original set of six or eight are now gone to the tea-set graveyard.
