blue dish with square shape and featuring bicycle-rider as main design element

Blue Dish with Bicycle-rider

Round-edged square dish or ashtray in light blue hue with design in navy blue. The design features a man on a bicycle and a rooster on the handlebars. The man is wearing a hat with a brim and a large tulip decoration. Additionally, a decorative oval design goes around the rim of the dish. Sizing: about 5-inches square with a shallow bowl shape, about 1/4-inch deep.
Markings on bottom of dish: "dordags frier" in blue coloring and cursive style of writing, followed by the hallmark "STAVANGERFLINT" and a stylized hatchet and a star and "NORWAY" in brown coloring, followed by "Bla serie Kari" in blue coloring (the last word is probably an artist signature).
A curious and rather sweet novelty dish. Estimated age: about fifty years.
