Information on Sales Policies

General: Customer satisfaction is important. Please note that the artist reserves the right to change prices or other information at any time. The purchaser should confirm pricing and availability before proceeding with the transaction. Google Checkout pricing (available with pre-arranged invoicing) is guaranteed. Artwork may be shipped to United States addresses. No international sales or shipping to APO/FPO addresses. Shipping will be via USPS, UPS or FedEx, depending on convenience and size of packaging. Requests for a specific carrier will be given due consideration. All packages will be insured. Remote locations (including Alaska and Hawaii) may require additional shipping charges. Shipping charges are usually $20.00 per item for works smaller than 8-in by 10-in not including framing. Larger works are $40.00 unless otherwise noted on the display page (for example, an unusually heavy frame may require a higher shipping allowance). Discounted or free shipping fees may be possible with the purchase of more than one artwork. Gift wrapping and associated greeting cards are available; kindly inquire for details. Paintings and drawings are shipped already framed and ready to hang on your wall. Purchasers may wish to have the works reframed for various reasons. This option is entirely up to the purchaser and at his discretion and expense as the artist is not in the framing business. The artist uses quality wood frames or metal frames which she has on hand at the time. Some works may also include matting and glazing (noted on the display page in the descriptions beneath the images). Notecards feaaturing the displayed images may also be available (be sure to inquire further if interested). Processing of orders may take up to three weeks, but most packages should arrive within a few days once payment has been received. Repeat customers may expect expedited service. Checks will need to clear the bank first and will be returned to the customer should there be any problems. The Google Checkout Invoicing program is suggested for those wishing to use credit cards. And payment by PayPal is now also acceptable. PayPal members can send money to my email address (cskeezix@gmail.com). Please inquire about the availability of any item before forwarding payment. Returns: Only upon agreement between the artist and the purchaser may an item be returned in the original shipping box for a refund of the purchase price (but not the shipping fee). Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. Naturally, if the purchaser is unhappy with the work for any reason, then that piece should be returned at once. Sales Tax: There is a tax for purchases shipped within Vermont. The current sales tax rate is 6 percent. This amount will be added to the total price. Please bear this in mind if you live in my home state of Vermont. Sales to other states are tax-free. |
