Volunteers

The volunteers are the most essential part of any community theater. Their willingness to donate their time and talents allows us to produce quality entertainment season after season. We greatly appreciate their help. If you would like to volunteer, there are many different areas that you can work in such as:

	Daytime Box Office or Evening Performance Staff - ticket sales, ushers, sell concessions
	Props Gatherer or Runner - manages the props for a performance
	Costume Seamstress or Wardrobe Staff - sew, clean, manage costumes
	Set Design / Construction, Painting and Dressing - creating the scenery for aproduction
	Lighting - designing, hanging, programming, the various lighting effects for a show and then running the lighting cues during a performance.
	Sound - designing and implementing sound effects and controlling the "mix" of microphones and music during a performance

The important thing to remember is that you do not need any previous experience. One of the joys of community theater is introducing new people to the art and helping them to learn the skills they need to perform the job they choose. Because of our large pool of volunteers, we can be very flexible with the schedule. You can learn as much as you want and you can choose the times you are available to help out.
