Driving directions and parking Paloma is located at 6516 Castor Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19149. From I-95 southbound (from Bucks County and points north) From I-95 northbound (from the Betsy Ross Bridge, downtown Philadelphia, and points south) From Roosevelt Boulevard (US-1) northbound (from the Schuylkill Expressway) From Township Line Road (73-EAST) (from Elkins Park, Rockledge, Jenkintown, etc.) From I-95 southbound (from Bucks County and points north) 1. Take I-95 south to the COTTMAN Avenue exit 2. At the bottom of the exit ramp, go straight ahead, following signs for route 73-WEST 3. When the road turns to the right, you will merge onto COTTMAN Avenue (73-WEST) 4. Stay in the center lanes and proceed straight ahead, west on COTTMAN (73-WEST) 5. The first traffic light is STATE ROAD. Continue straight ahead, keeping to the right when the street becomes two-way. 6. After the 7th light (ERDRICK STREET), you will see signs for Route 13. DO NOT TURN, but bear left to stay on COTTMAN, crossing FRANKFORD AVENUE. (This point is 0.9 miles from the point where you exited I-95.) 7. Continue west on COTTMAN another 0.9 miles to the ROOSEVELT BOULEVARD (US-1), the 7th light after FRANKFORD. Keep going straight on COTTMAN. 8. You will pass the Roosevelt Mall on the right, then cross BUSTLETON AVENUE and continue west on COTTMAN without turning. 9. After you pass BUSTLETON AVENUE, the second traffic light is CASTOR AVENUE (0.8 miles from ROOSEVELT BOULEVARD and 2.6 miles from I-95). Turn LEFT onto CASTOR AVENUE. 10. On CASTOR AVENUE, Paloma is 0.9 miles after you turn. The 7th traffic light after you turn onto CASTOR is MAGEE AVENUE. The first little street on the right after MAGEE is GREEBY. Paloma is on the right side, on the corner of CASTOR and GREEBY, 6516 Castor Avenue. There is an Eckerd Drug store right across the street. After the inner set of lanes emerge from the underpass that goes beneath Oxford Circle (the first such underpass), stay in the left lane. You will pass the turn for LARGE STREET on your left. Do not turn there. 3. Turn LEFT at the next traffic light, onto DEVEREAUX STREET. The sign for the street is not large and it hangs from an overhead street light. (If you reach BUSTLETON AVENUE, you have gone too far.) 4. On DEVEREAUX, pass the traffic light at LARGE STREET. Do not turn. The next light is CASTOR AVENUE. Turn RIGHT onto CASTOR AVENUE. 5. Go up CASTOR AVENUE, passing traffic lights at LEVICK and HELLERMAN. 6. Right past HELLERMAN, there is a small street on your left named GREEBY STREET. PALOMA is on the left, on the corner of GREEBY and CASTOR. There is an Eckerd Drug store on your right, directly across the street from the restaurant. From Roosevelt Boulevard (US-1) southbound (from Northeast Philadelphia, Bucks County and points north) 1. As you proceed south on ROOSEVELT BOULEVARD, stay in the outer set of lanes. 2. Turn RIGHT at COTTMAN AVENUE. 3. You will pass the Roosevelt Mall on the right, then cross BUSTLETON AVENUE and continue west on COTTMAN without turning. 4. After you pass BUSTLETON AVENUE, the second traffic light is CASTOR AVENUE (0.8 miles from ROOSEVELT BOULEVARD and 2.6 miles from I-95). Turn LEFT onto CASTOR AVENUE. 5. Go past the intersection called FIVE POINTS (where COTTMAN, RISING SUN and OXFORD meet) and continue east on COTTMAN. 3. Pass ALGON, SUMMERDALE, FRONTENAC and LORETTO Streets, then turn RIGHT onto CASTOR AVENUE. (If you reach BUSTLETON AVENUE or ROOSEVELT BOULEVARD, you have gone too far.) 4. On CASTOR AVENUE, Paloma is 0.9 miles after you turn. The 7th traffic light after you turn onto CASTOR is MAGEE AVENUE. The first little street on the right after MAGEE is GREEBY. From New Jersey (via the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge - if you use the Betsy Ross, Ben Franklin or Walt Whitman bridges, take I-95 north and follow that section of the directions) 1. When you come off the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, follow signs to LEVICK STREET. 2. Proceed west on LEVICK STREET, crossing TORRESDALE AVENUE, FRANKFORD AVENUE, ROOSEVELT BOULEVARD (it gets a bit tricky crossing the Boulevard at Levick - just stay to the right and follow the signs), and BUSTLETON AVENUE. 3. After you cross BUSTLETON AVENUE, proceed about 3-4 blocks to the next commercial intersection. That is CASTOR AVENUE. 4. Turn RIGHT onto CASTOR AVENUE. The next light you will pass is HELLERMAN STREET. 5. Right past HELLERMAN, there is a small street on your left named GREEBY STREET. PALOMA is on the left, on the corner of GREEBY and CASTOR. WHEN YOU ARRIVE (regardless of route) PALOMA, 6516 Castor Avenue, is on the corner of Castor Avenue and Greeby Street. The first floor has a yellow stucco fa ηade and a burgundy canopy awning. Our sign is high up on the building. If you have trouble finding us, call us at 215-533-0356.Ample on-street parking is usually available on Castor Avenue (meters are free after 6pm and on Sundays), often right outside the restaurant. If you cannot find a space, you may park on the Eckerd Drug store lot, but ONLY in the line of spaces at the wall of the bank, furthest from the drug store.
