Paloma has a liquor license, a full bar, and some very talented bartenders.  Our margaritas are some of the best around and, if we have fresh mint available, we'll make you a fabulous mojito. 

Our current wine list appears below.  Many wines are available by the glass.  In addition to the wines on the list, we often have special wines, not listed here, that are in limited supply.

A supple wine with aromas of ripe tropical fruit and a pleasant hint of vanilla oak. A lively acidity gives it a fresh, crisp note while the creamy oak aging melts into a rich finish.

Chardonnay, Carmen ’05, Casablanca Valley, Chile    glass 9.00    bottle 34.00

Made from 100% organically grown chardonnay. A delicious medium bodied sipping wine with an enticing creamy texture and aromas of pear, banana and a touch of vanilla, with a hint of smooth toastiness from barrel aging. Complex, beautifully structured and crisp with a rich mouthfeel and a lingering finish.

Chardonnay, Kinter Collins ‘03, Sonoma Coast, Pacheco Vineyard, California     bottle 75.00

The cool climate has accentuated the minerality and tangy acidity of this elegant wine; ripeness contributes tantalizing tastes of lime and mango. This the winemaker has seasoned brilliantly with oak, which is smoky, caramelly, vanilla-infused and creamy. Simply elegant. Only 350 cases made. Silver prize - Finger Lakes International Wine Competition 2005; Silver prize - Savor Wine Competition 2005.

Chardonnay, Mβcon-Villages, Louis Jadot ’04, France     bottle 36.00

A clean, fresh Chardonnay with typical varietal fragrance and elegant, citrus and white fruit flavors (peaches and nectarines) on the palate. Vinified without oak contact, the delicate acid balance carries into a refreshing, crisp finish.

A full-bodied wine filled with peach and tropical fruits with a soft creamy lingering finish.

Pinot Grigio

Pinot Grigio, Gaierhof ’02, Trentino, Italy    bottle 50.00

Elegant nose with fruit aromas of peach and banana, surrounded by a light jasmine scent. Its taste is complex and well-structured, filled with lush flavors and a straightforward acidity in the finish.

Pinot Grigio, Luna ‘03, Napa, California     bottle 60.00

Honeysuckle and mineral greet the nose, with hints of warm spice and a bottom note of freshly baked bread. In the mouth, the first flavor notes recall ripe peaches and star fruit, while the mid-palate is reminiscent of crPme brflιe and toasted pine nuts. A smooth framework of acidity supports the wine and keeps it crisp throughout, resolving into a long and satisfying finish. Aged in oak barrels 7 months.

Bright straw in color with a delicate floral bouquet and fresh, fruity flavors that linger on the palate. A light-bodied dry white wine.

Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc, Allan Scott ‘03, Marlborough, New Zealand     bottle 42.00

A lively, approachable and full bodied wine with an abundance of fruit characters and a spanking acidity. Pineapple, passionfruit and melon-like flavors are all present along with a little Marlborough herbaceousness.

Sauvignon Blanc, Aresti ’04, Curicσ Valley, Chile     glass 8.50    bottle 32.00

Yellow straw color with greenish glints. On the nose the wine is very intense and displays tropical aromas such as "maracuyα," (passion fruit), grapefruit lemon with fine herb notes.

Sauvignon Blanc, Kendall-Jackson ’03, Vintner’s Reserve, Coastal California    glass 9.25    bottle 35.00

Notes of lime, melon and Anjou pears intermingle with sweet fruits such as fig to create this flavorful, crisp wine. The finish is surprisingly long making it a perfect wine for sipping. 92% Sauvignon Blanc, 7% Sιmillon, 1% Viognier. Silver Medal - 2005 Monterey Wine Competition.

Sauvignon Blanc, Morandι ’04, Curicσ Valley, Chile    bottle 36.00

A pale-yellow wine with green hues, very intense and aromatic, offering tropical and citrus fruits. The first contact in the mouth is very smooth, herbal and tasty. The finish is acidic, dry, very lively, fresh and juicy.

Floral nose with hints of spicy and citrus-marmalade flavors. Ripe and focused, it shows an opulence supported by a grapefruit-like acidity, firm and crisp on the long finish. Silver medal - Hilton Head SC Winefest 2005.

Pouilly-Fumι, Sauvion ‘98, France     bottle 70.00

Made with 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this crisp and refreshing Pouilly Fumι has citrus flavors and a zesty finish. Pouilly is the name of the village and fumι means smoked. Pouilly Fumι is world renowned for its richly scented, flinty/smoky earthy, herbaceous expressions of the Sauvignon Blanc grape.

Puligny-Montrachet, Albert Bichot ‘98, France     bottle 140.00

A classic white burgundy, made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Wines from this renowned appellation were Napoleon's favorite because of their smooth, dry, full-bodied texture and exceptional richness. Superb and well-structured Puligny. Has a good backbone, balanced tastes and a medium-long length.

Riesling, Leasingham ’04 Magnus, Clare Valley, South Australia     bottle 45.00

Light and refreshing, this riesling is typically fine and zesty, with ripe lemons and fleshy citrus fruit characters. Possessing mouth watering mineral acidity, the finish is fresh and lively. 89 points - Wine Spectator.

Sιmillon, L’Ιcole No. 41 ’04, Columbia Valley     bottle 45.00

Remarkably brilliant and buoyed by crisp acidity, this wine shows citrus, pear and lychee nut, with spicy floral aromas and honeysuckle flavors on a flinty mineral finish. 88% Sιmillon, 12% Sιmillon Blanc grapes.

Torrontes, Santa Julia ’05, Mendoza, Argentina    glass 8.50    bottle 32.00

A light bodied, clean, crisp and fresh dry wine with tropical fruit aromas and an elegant and refreshing impression on the palate. It displays good balance between residual sugar and acidity, with hints of jasmine and exotic spices. 100% Torrontes grapes.

Vinho Verde, Aveleda ’05, Portugal     glass 8.50    bottle 32.00

Made from Trajadura, Loureiro, Arinto and Azal grapes, this is a lovely light and crisp wine whose gentle and fruity aroma gives it a smooth, delicate flavor.

This brilliant garnet wine is bright and fresh, with ripe, supple crushed strawberry flavors underscored by zesty nuances of peppercorns, gentle tannins and a clean acidity, finishing on a succulent, refreshing note.

Cabernet Sauvignon

A lovely cabernet with good body, vanilla and berry flavors, and a velvety finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Eshcol Ranch ’02, Napa, California     glass 10.00    bottle 45.00

This full-bodied cab has a dark rich red color with robust aromas and flavors of ripe cherries and berry fruit with integrated oak spicing and great tannin structure. 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc grapes.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Mont Gras Reserva ’05, Colchagua Valley, Chile     glass 9.50    bottle 36.00

Aged one year in oak barrels, this amply structured Reserva cabernet sauvignon exudes spicy, toasty aromas. Rich flavors of black cherry and plum linger into an intense, sustained finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Raymond "Generations" ’96, Napa, California     bottle 190.00

Wonderful texture, polish and finesse with a pretty core of currant, black berry, plum and spice. Rounds out nicely on the complex finish with a soft edge to the tannins. A world class wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Raymond Reserve ‘98, Napa, California     bottle 120.00

Gorgeous color with a lovely nose of cherries, ripe currants and coconut/vanilla. In the mouth the wine is very smooth up front. The luscious fruit noted in the bouquet comes through with currants and cherries, with some coffee and oak/vanilla essence. The wine is put together very well, allowing the taste of the grapes to do most of the talking with the vanilla/oak taste only present in a supporting role. It has an elegant, smooth finish. 92 points - Wine Spectator.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Robertson ’03, South Africa     bottle 36.00

Smooth and full-bodied, with intense aromas of blackcurrant and wild fruit that lead promisingly to rich flavors of ripe cassis and chocolate, as well as some earthiness. Softly balanced tannins and acidity ensure a well-defined structure and an elegant finish. 100% cabernet sauvignon grapes.

CarmenPre

CarmenPre, Mont Gras ’05 Reserva, Colchagua Valley, Chile     bottle 37.00

This wine’s powerful spicy aromas mingle with mint and wild herbs. On the palate, soft and round tannins combine with subtle vanilla and toasty flavors.

CarmenPre, Morandι ‘04, Maipo Valley, Chile     glass 9.25    bottle 35.00

This charming wine presents aromas of blackberry and cranberry, with pleasant notes of coffee and chocolate. In the mouth, it is fresh, silky, soft, rich in flavors, of agreeable body and a delicate low acidity.

Malbec

Malbec, Bodega Lurton Reserva ’03, Argentina     bottle 50.00

A traditional Bordeaux styled red, this is a full-bodied and richly flavored wine with intense aromas of black fruits and spice. Aged in small barrels for 9 months and bottled with minimal fining or filtration.

Merlot

Merlot, Black Oak ’04, California     glass 8.50    bottle 32.00

Dark ruby color and subtle hints of oak tones are combined with soft approachable tannins to give this fantastic body and structure. It is a well-balanced and inviting wine.

Merlot, Carmen ’04, Valle Central, Chile    bottle 34.00

This wine shows a lovely black cherry color with intense aromas of red fruit and spicy nuances. Four months of oak aging has softened the tannins and added complexity to the aromas. Light to medium bodied with concentrated fruit flavors and a wonderful soft, lingering finish.

Merlot, Kendall-Jackson Grand Reserve ’95, Sonoma, California     bottle 110.00

A rich and complex wine characterized by aromas of raspberry, chocolate, cherry, vanilla and a light cedar note, with similar flavors and fine tannins. Aged 18 months in 100% small French oak barrels. 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 79% Merlot grapes.

Merlot, L’Ιcole No. 41 ’02, Seven Hills Vineyard, Walla Walla Valley, Washington     bottle 150.00

This merlot shows its characteristic cedary, silky black cherry fruit, with cool mint and floral aromas and a gripping yet elegant mix of blueberry, blackberry, cocoa and sweet tannins on a long, impressively lingering finish. 89% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc. 91 points - Wine Spectator. Gold medal, Northwest Wine Summit 2004.

Merlot, Michel Lynch ’01, Bordeaux, France     bottle 38.00

This deep ruby red Bordeaux has aromas of red cherry, plum and blackberry. Its taste is powerful, supple and fruit forward, with a lasting finish. 100% Merlot grapes.

Merlot, Morandι ‘03, Rapel Valley, Chile     bottle 36.00

A deep violet wine with shades of red, it has pleasant aromas, reminiscent of plums and red fruits, with some peppery notes. In the mouth it offers a very slight touch of pepper and ripe red fruits. It is smooth, full of sweet rounded tannins and with a silky finish.

Petite Sirah

Petite Sirah, Earthquake ’03, Lodi, California     bottle 110.00

An assertive wine with up front blueberry syrup, black cherry and coffee bean flavors, finishing with a warm cigar box cedar and vanilla. Brawny, solid tannins and a seemingly endless finish. Gold Medal - Best of Class - Red Wine Sweepstakes Winner, San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition 2005.

Petite Sirah, Oak Grove ’04 Reserve, California     glass 9.25    bottle 35.00

A concentrated nose of lush cherries, black pepper, and spice. Delicious fruit flavors of blueberry and raspberry are followed by a long, spicy finish.

Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir, Ramsay ’02, North Coast, California     bottle 65.00

A beautifully crafted wine with a wonderful array of rich cane-berry flavors with a good structure of tannins, from both the fruit and the barrels, and firm acidity. The nose is a nice blend of good Pinot Noir fruit and oak, with major notes of vanilla, blackberries and allspice. To top off all the other sensory beauty of this wine, it has a wonderful filling and rich mouth-feel.

Pinot Noir, Ramsay ’05, North Coast, California     bottle 60.00

This wine has a nose full of the wonderful richness that good Pinot Noir is famous for – lots of berry aromas, mushroom complexity and toasty oak. The mouth explodes with blueberry, Bing cherry, anise and toast. Even more striking is the depth and richness of the mouth-feel. The wine is very fruity, with blackberry characters and a big, rich, tarry and solid balance. The oak is refined and quite opulent in its "warm" characters.

Shiraz & Shiraz Blends

Shiraz, Deen deBortoli ’03, Vat 8, Australia    bottle 44.00

This sumptuous red has layers of complexity that begin with minty lilacs, violets and vanilla, with smoky and blackberry undertones. In the mouth, rich, ripe, black wild fruit flavors stir the senses. The finish is lushly minty, with cedar, lilacs and luxurious lingering fruit. Its firm tannins are softened and balanced by 12 months in oak.

Shiraz-Cabernet Sauvignon, deBortoli ’04, Australia    glass 9.00    bottle 34.00

A deep crimson wine with vibrant purple hues, its bouquet has soft yet intense aromas of spicy berry fruit with a hint of pepper and subtle oak. The palate is generous with spice, peppers and concentrated plum fruit flavors. The tannins are soft and balanced with the subtle yet sweet cedar-like oak. An easy drinking wine with fine tannins and a full finish. 75% Shiraz, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

A medium-bodied dry red wine. Very rich, intense and delicate aromas, with flavors that show fresh fruits and a nice acidity. Made from 100% Barbera grapes.

Hautes-Cτtes de Beaune, Jaboulet Vercherre ’03, Bourgogne, France    bottle 45.00

A full-bodied wine with striking aromas of redcurrant, sweet black cherry, blackberry and prune. Fresh and lively on the palate, it has well-structured peppery tannins and a broad round finish.

Pinotage, Robertson ’03, South Africa    bottle 36.00

Full fruity with cherry and blackberry flavors, the juicy aromas of plums and a full dry aftertaste. It has very soft tannins and good balancing acidity.

Syrah, August Briggs ’01, Napa Valley, California    bottle 85.00

This very dark red wine is powerful in flavor as well as aroma. Hints of blackberry, cherry and dark chocolate combined with a solid structure and full of body. While being smooth and silky in the mouth with a great, seemingly neverending finish.

Montaudon is a small producer who makes a very fine Champagne. Wonderful dried fruit intensity in this distinctive, concentrated Champagne. On the dry side and racy, accented by citrus, it remains fresh and vivid though the lingering finish. 90 points - Wine Spectator.

Champagne Rosι, Montaudon Grande Rose Brut NV, Reims, France    bottle 90.00

Quite fruity, with strawberry, smoke, and leather on the nose. Explosive and bold on the attack, with a medium body and a Pinot Noir earthiness that runs through the finish. Packs a lot of flavor and personality. 89 points - Wine Spectator.
