Marco Island, FL 2007 and San Antonio , TX for the International Convention- Don L. Pres. Of the Capital City Club suggestion is to take Amtrak there and back for a big Kiwanis Social Event
Miracle League
Eddie Lee has been asked us to help him with this as a Division Project
We need more open communication on this.
Kiwanis Field of Dreams
Genesis Engineering has volunteered their service
Larry Spalding will help Club apply to the FL Foundations for individual grants
County has budgeted 71 K dollars for the project

Jere Moore says Wal-mart has not come through yet. He complimented the Killearn Club for completing their goal on their own. He encouraged others to do the same.

Florida Kids Read: All Kiwanians should have a goal of reading in 10 hours to kids in K-5th grade.o
Key Leader: May 4-7, 2007- Encouragement to contribute $150 per student per club- please put this into your club budget now and in the futureo
2006 North Florida Fair Luncheon: Nov 2, 2006, Noon- Give them a head count- Kirby Barrett will be speaking - $12 lunch from the Seine Yardo
Cookbook orders: Last call $15.00 each- Nancy Shank says there is a last opportunity to order moreo

Donated $5,000 scholarship to the Lighthouse Children’s Home
Provided free books for children of prisoners participating in Literacy Program at the Leon County Jail

Moved Club’s meeting time and place (6:30-7:30p.m. @ Old Times Buffet – Lake Ella)
Sent two Club members to the District meeting

Met with President of FAMU Circle K Club to help begin planning fall activities
