To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in the browser window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four "margins" to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being cutoff during printing.
To print click on
FILE again.
Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should
be a
"Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a
Range
of Pages". The first time select print "all" so you will have a copy of
the entire Newsletter content. On subsequent issues you can select
"Print
Pages 1 - 5" and you should get all of the current news section.

GOV. NANCY SHANK. Brag For A Buck: ESHER, a small "retirement" wooden car to Tommy marking the 550th wooden toy made by Charley.  PROGRAM Lt. Gov. Nancy Shank Installation of Officer and Directors Ryor (Pres), Columbo (Pres-Elect), Barger (Treas), and Varley (Secretary). New board members will be: Esher, Doyal, and Faust. These members will serve for 2 years commencing OCT 1, 2007. Recognition to retiring board members and committee chairs with "I Made A Difference" & Living The Dream" pins.  Incoming Directors  President (Second Tour) Ryor  President Elect Dave Columbo  Treasurer Jim Barger Secretary Jim Varley was installed in absentia. ------ Incoming Lt. Gov. Al Eppinger with a message of renewal of club and member efforts to begin the new year next week. The parents group in the city/county has called after seeing the recent Democrat coverage and and will help with the walk. AKtion and Key Clubs are on board and Robert Moore will assist in turning out Key Clubbers. Lets make a good showing of support and walk at least some of the route. Steve Mayberry is on the Steering Committee. DISTRICT GOVERNOR ELECT MARK TAYLOR'S GOALS FOR NEXT YEAR. Al Eppinger passed on these goals. 1. Clubs participate in Guardian ad Litum 2. Have a midnight madness new member induction on September 30th at midnight. 3. Each Division add 100 new female members in the first 3 months of next year. 4. All members and spouses are encouraged to attend and see Past Lt Gov Nancy Shank install officers and Tommy Mills recognize the AKtion clubbers for their work during the year. The cost of the buffet is $10 per person. ----- Aktion Club Project “Sleeping Children Around the World” (SCAW) AKtion Club initiative to raise funds for “bed kits”. These kits cost $25 each and were described in fliers circulated by Bob Bull. Sponsoring organization is SCAW, which KI has vetted and approved. Florida Kiwanis and KI will match money raised by Aktion clubs up to $200. Killearn Kiwanis will match up to $200 raised by our AKtion Club. Key Club  Web Site Key Clubber Robert Moore is Div 3 Key Club Lt. Gov. Our Board provided $500 seed money to get the Key Club started in the Miracle Field Walk. September 22nd, conference planned the rest of the year's activities.   Tee Shirt Meeting Reminders Tuesday September 25th during the noon lunch break When the meeting schedule is scheduled a

"Brag For A Buck" Just give a buck and state your brag in one minute or less. Over that time costs $5.00 OTHER COLLECTIONS PROGRAMS. Scroll down the left column to see the list. Make it a habit to do these things. Bring your items to every Quarterly Program Meeting. COMMITTEE CHAIRS THERE IS STILL A LITTLE TIME LEFT TO SUBMIT ALL YOUR MONTHLY REPORTS FOR THIS YEAR. It is the only way your committee can be eligible for District awards. You can catch up on the past due reports. A list of District Awards and the criteria is available on the District web site at 2006-2007 Awards Criteria Find your District Committee Counterpart and communicate with him/her. Florida District Committee Chairs PLANNING & BUDGETING FOR NEXT YEAR BEGINNING OCT 1ST. John Ryor has started the process. It will be finalized at the September Board meeting. MONTHLY COMMITTEE REPORTS TO THE DISTRICT THE SEPTEMBER REPORT IS THE LAST CHANCE TO GET THE REPORTS IN FOR 2006-2007. In order to be eligible for a District Award committees must submit monthly reports via the District Web Site. Serving The Club Now is the time to tell incoming President John Ryor which committees and projects in which you would like to take a leadership role this coming year. Don't be shy about this. All positions and tasks are available for your selection. The list of committees and projects is on page 2. Click here to review it.
