Services REIKI Each person has the ability to help another heal, and Reiki facilitates that process. The energy system is used to relieve pain and manage stress and provide other health benefits. It is deeply calming, and clients become so relaxed after a session that they may feel like they have just taken a nap. People who are relaxed are better able to cope with the demands of an increasingly stressful world. Reiki helps at the physical, emotional and spiritual levels. It can be especially helpful for people seeking to further their spiritual growth and development. Your Reiki Session During your Reiki session, you will sit in a chair or lie down on a table, fully clothed. While relaxing music plays, the Reiki practitioner will place her hands lightly on your body in non-intrusive positions. Reiki energy comes through the practitioner's hands to you. As the Reiki session progresses, the practitioner's hands are guided to where she feels the energy needs to go. Your Reiki session will last about an hour. You may feel heat, cold or tingling sensations. Reiki works at the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. The Reiki energy has an intelligence of its own and goes exactly where it is needed. Please be assured that any information you share with the practitioner will be kept in strict confidence. Must I be physically present to have a Reiki session? Is Reiki a cult? Is Reiki a form of mind control? Is Reiki a form of massage? Is Reiki a substitute for medical treatment? Am I limited to a certain number of Reiki sessions?
Is Reiki limited to humans?
Hypnosis is a natural phenomenon of the mind and body that can be thought of as the power of suggestion. The late psychiatrist, Dr. Milton Erickson, once wrote that hypnosis is a part of everyday life and may be viewed as increased or decreased susceptibility to suggestion, whether done consciously or unconsciously. The late hypnosis giant, Mr. Walter Sichort, also described hypnosis as a heightened state of awareness, which, when combined with varying states of relaxation, produces beneficial effects. Some people experience such deep states of relaxation that after a session, they may feel as if they have taken a power nap. Everyone experiences hypnosis on a daily basis. Any person
capable of imagining, visualizing or "playing pretend" can enter
the hypnotic state since he or she is shifting attention to "another
reality." Hypnosis involves connecting to a profound part of the
self we all have - the Subconscious - to find the answers within. The
power lies within. Can anyone be hypnotized? How is hypnosis used? False beliefs about hypnosis A person in hypnosis is aware of what is going on, even with his or her eyes closed. The person is never unconscious. This only occurs when a person is knocked out cold or is under general anesthesia.
The Communication Technique™ (TCT™), formerly Kinesis,
is a method for questioning the Subconscious Mind in order to receive "yes" or "no" answers.
The response given is always for your highest good. DISCLAIMER Hypnotherapists and Reiki practitioners do NOT diagnose conditions, nor do they prescribe substances or perform medical treatment. They do not interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. It is recommended that the client see a licensed physician or other licensed health care professional for any physical or psychological ailment he or she may have. It is understood that the body has the ability to heal itself, and to do so, complete relaxation is often beneficial. Long term imbalances in the body sometimes require multiple sessions to allow the body to reach the level of relaxation necessary to bring the system back into balance. Self-improvement requires commitment on the client’s part, and that he or she must be willing to change in a positive way to receive the full benefits of hypnotherapy and Reiki. It is recognized that a hypnotherapy or Reiki program must be followed to be truly effective.
