Stanley Kasica wins big!
Congratulations to our own Stanley Kasica, who by winning the recent competition at the convention in Florida, is now the U.S. National PPG Champion!
Hammonassett Park is closed to flying!
It was too good to last... We have been informed that flying at Hammonassett Park is currently NOT allowed.
Anybody flying there will be issued a summons for disorderly conduct.
Whether they can make that stick is another story, but let's not push it.
We will be contacting the DEP authorities in Hartford to try to work it out and gain some kind of permission;
please do not jeopardize these efforts by attempting to fly there now. Kiting is still OK, though.
Griswold Airport Closed!
As most of you are aware, Griswold airport is now closed.
Nobody is allowed on the property unless accompanied by Loren Baker, the airport manager.
We can keep hoping for a miracle but don't hold your breath.
