Welcome to my web page.
I have selected cities in Japan I visited during my 8 years in the U.S.Navy. The cities I visited were Yokohama
Yokosuka, Sasebo, Iwakuni and the Island of Okinawa.
Information provided here is for Veterans and others interested in military subjects.
My duty stations were;
San Diego Boot Camp 2/59 - 4/59
Radioman School in San Diego 4/59 - 5/59 (I washed out in week 5)
USS Mt. Katmai '59 - '60 (Got to do a Fleet Swap)
USS San Juaquin County '60 - '63
USS Nechez '63 - '63 (I didn't like the ship and a mirical happened that I was transferred in 6 months...)
Torpedo Station Keyport WA '63 - '65 (...to my home area for shore duty)
USS Yorktown '65 - '67 (Honorably discharged)
