DAC- A Private Astronomical Research Facility

Deschutes Astronomical Center- is a privately operated research facility located about 30 miles east of Bend Oregon at about 4000 ft. Currently under construction the scope hopes to see first light by the time I retire. The primary instrument is a .5m (20") F/8 Corrected Dall Kirkham Cassegrain telescope. These web pages shows the telescope and adaptive optics system under development and my current backyard observatory in Lake Oswego Oregon.
