Some of the 19th century gravestones at Dry Pond Cemetery

This is the last resting place for many of Stoughton's Dry Pond families.  Many of the gravestones from the 18th through 20th century are for the Clapp, Smith, Waters, Gay, and Holmes families.  Stoughton's well known benefactor Lucius Clapp is buried here with his family.

This cemetery was completely transcribed in the fall of 2004.  If you have any questions on the gravestones contact the www.StoughtonHistory.com
