Ham gear slated for disposal:

This document ins provided primarily for residents of the Las Cruces, NM area. I might be able to ship some of the smaller items if someone desired, but I'm really not interested in the hassles of shipping anything large – such as the GR signal generator.

There are a few parts salvaged froma Gateway EISA bus computer listed at the end of this file - just in case someone is looking for spare parts for an old pre-80486 machine.

Free to taker:

1) PRO-AM PAN38 adapter: NMO to 3/8" x 24 female thread on adapter.

No reasonable offer refused:

1) MFJ-5086 adapter cable: male 5 pin DIN for TNC (MFJ 1276) to 8 pin female Kenwood radio microphone connector.

2) Heathkit HK-232 version of AEA PK232: packet, amtor, cw, rtty hf-fax interface; with construction and operating manuals.

3) Sold.

4) ICOM IC-22S 2M xcvr, dead at last check - probably due to another failure of one or more of the :plated-thru" circuit board connectors; with microphone, manual and original carton.

5) General Radio Type 1000-A Standard Signal Generator (you know the one! Big, black and heavy!).

6) Gone but not forgotten.

7) Xerox-Diablo ECS daisy wheel printer, wide carriage, some spare daisy wheels; internal serial & parallel interfaces. Manuals, too!

Pricier Stuff:

  • EZ-Way Model RBX 50P two-section crankup, titlover tower. 12 sq.ft. unguyed windload rating and 40 sq.ft. cranked-down @ 100 MPH. Email me for more info. The original installation manual goes with it.Price $50 if you arrange and pay for removal and moving. That price is for the tower & ground post only - does not include rotator or antenna.

  • 2 element, 5 band Lightning Bolt cubical quad antenna; complete except for one broken element wire; includes instruction sheets. $ 100; local delivery or pick up only.

  • Yaesu FT-757GX transceiver with original instruction and maintenance manuals; also MH-1B8 hand mike and RB-757 relay for switching an external amp; this radio is in generally good condition, but the passband occasionally seems to exhibit erratic shifts during first half hour or so from turn on. Make an offer if interested. Pix can be supplied if desired.
