Some think that we may have found evidence of an advanced civlization on Mars.
Mars is a red planet due to the large amount of iron oxide on its surface. The
planet's day is nearly identical to that of the earth's.
Mars has been the object of many unmanned missions. The Mars
Orbiter Camera has returned over 200,000 pictures of the planet. On the surface
of Mars the are two rovers called Spirit
and Opportunity. Both rovers were designed for only 90 days of exploration
yet they have operated for over a year!
