This may not be so interesting to most people since the majority uses Internet Explorer, but for those of us who realize that Netscape is faster and like Netscape, some of the following could prove to be useful.

At this point I don't know what will be in this page so if you have any requests please e-mail me or go to my Lots of Nothin Message Board. - Netscape specific

The following are links from Devedge.netscape.com. I plan on visiting all of these and seeing what I can learn and share it all here.

Right now I don't even know what these links are;

CSS Central - "Cascading Style Sheets give authors the ability to lay out and style their content without having to change the structure. Netscape is a world leader in the implementation of this important and evolving standard."

Gecko Central - "Netscape Gecko™ is a standards-based browser embedded in Netscape 7.x, Mozilla, CompuServe 7, AOL for Mac OS X, as well as other browsers. Netscape Gecko Central brings you specific information on these embedded browsers. Get the latest tips and release information by signing up for DevEdge News."

Javascript Central - Now I know what that is, now to explain it and how to write it is a beyond me. This link is about - "..documentation and references about the JavaScript programming language. This section is dedicated to the language itself, however you will also find pointers to other centrals where JavaScript is in use in combination with other technologies."

Plugins Central - I think that eveyone knows what they are, just a matter of how to use them. - "Plugins Central provides information and recommendations related to Netscape Gecko browsers for both web site and plugins developers." This link provides insight to coding for plugins is what I have gathered at a glimpse.

DOM Central Again no idea - This is a little over my head. Again here is a quote - "DOM Central contains information about how to use the Document Object Model (DOM) to create standards-compliant DHTML and dynamic web applications. DOM refers to how browsers and other software represent documents as objects to dynamically access and modify a documentīs contents."

"Today, "the DOM" usually means W3C DOM which is the standard for all modern browsers. The W3C DOM is the future of web development." Lost yet? Me too. There is so much reading to do, I should just sign up for a class.

Security Developer Central - If you need security on your site you have no buisness being here. This is far beyond what I am into but makes for interesting reading.

XML Central - " XML, a markup language for structured information, is the basis for many new emerging technologies. XML Central provides information about XML-based technologies Netscape's Gecko rendering engine supports." Articles relating to XML can be found here.

Now after you have read all those articles you acan visit there examples page to see how it is written and how it works.

These articles are here for real programmers, unlike myself. I may move on to something I can understand. Basic Scripting. Note to self - Choose a doc type then Validate it by URL, file upload, direct input.

I don't think that I am into anything that is going to cause invalid pages. So far I haven't recieved any error messages but then again, who is testing my pages besides me and my interns? (that's if they even do!?!? I let them all work from home so they are probably out partying and all hung over if not drunk again! Typical telecomuters!)
