SOLUTION: The strange thing that most people don't realize is the best way to keep your silverware tarnish free is to use it, and reuse. The more use, the less care it will require, then follow these directions. Polish it according to direction on the silver polishing container. Dry well. Store in Pacific cloth-a soft flannel that has not been treated with chemicals and place them in plastic bags. Don't use elastic bans to fastens bags-rubber contains sulfur and will cause tarnishing. QUESTION: Need A Skunk Smell Cure? ANSWER: A roll in the hay is all it takes! After various methods over the years, the best one I found is, simply rub your dog vigorously with hay: Or if you can, convince him , get him to roll around in the hay. Very simple information here for you. Which dictionary should I choose, where is it, and why? Well, I don't know all those answers. I do know that you may want to book mark this tidbit of information. Merriam-Webster's Dictionary is someone who I have never heard of but they made it a point to somehow get themselves to the top of the search results so I figured they must be somewhat decent. They also have a thesaurus and a word of the day that you can register for. Not really sure why. Of course the obvious, Dictionary.com. Again, at the top of the list. They also have a thesaurus, a translator, games, etc... And now there is what will be my favorite, Webopedia. "The only online dictionary and search engine you need for computer and Internet technology." so they say. Web and internet jargon, programming lingo, and anything else that doesn't make sense you can figure out here. How about the term of the day? Bet ya didn't know there was one huh? Well, just like everyone else, they have a search tool you can integrate into your browser. Now I don't know about you, but if I put every search tool or add on into my browser I wouldn't have any room for the page. It's up to you, the link is there if you want. Do you get in trouble a lot? I used to. If you do, did, or know someone who does, you can get help with terminology from Duhaime.org Researched, written in plain language and provided free of charge by lawyer Lloyd Duhaime. Math!! ewwww! Who remembers what they learned in school say "I." (boy it's awful quiet) Well I sure don't. So I have info on Trig, and a place to get measurement Conversion Calculators. You name it, they have it. |
I am back!! Again! I just wanted to mention that some of these things actually work. Give them a try if you ever find yourself in a situation that calls for some of these screwy remedies.
Oh and I have one more for you... Ever have a pen blow up on you? In your pocket, your tool belt, or pouch? Well, I have. I have also learned that "Goof Off" or "Goo Off", (the solvent to remove the sticky residue left over from stickers) works great to get the ink off your hands, tools, counters, and just about anything else. I also learned that it takes Kilz out of carpet too.
After searching long and hard, well... not really, After looking into it a little, I have come to realize that I am not qualified (or too lazy) to index the searches. Therefore I have improvised to what you have here today. If you have followed my notes and tried what I suggested then searching through my site shouldn't have been to difficult.
As always, you are encouraged to give me feedback, ideas and suggestions for my site. If you can't find me, I am right here. In case you would like to get in touch with me you can reach me at dgonline@comcast.net
Have a nice day!!
