Mon ~ A cloudy damp day with drizzle, Dan's cold is now full blown, but he refused to let that spoil the day and we headed to Crosby. We went to see "Another Place", the Iron Man exhibit at the beach, which was so odd, but just hard to put into words when you are actually standing among it. The sun broke through for a little bit, and the view all around put me in awe. We left Crosby and headed to Liverpool. How can one go to England and not see something Beatles-related? So we located Penny Lane and found the house John Lennon grew up in. We ate on Penny Lane in a wine bar, delicious potato wedges and dip. What an experience, standing on the corner seeing all he did when he wrote "Penny Lane".
