New Jersey New York
Philadelphia
New Jersey

What can I say about this
trip? It was a lot of saving
up but it was more than worth
every single penny.

Most of the time was spent in New
Jersey, as that was where Pat is
most familiar with and there is so
much to do and see, like the bright
lights and casinos of Atlantic City to
the "World's Largest Elephant" down
in Margate, to name just two.

We took a couple of trips to Philadelphia
and saw the Liberty Bell, the Art Museum
that featured in Rocky, and enjoyed a tour
of the Historical City on their amphibious
tour bus - "Ride the Ducks". OK, to a Brit, the
word "historical" may see a little out of place
when used in relation to America. However,
they haven't been around as long as us and have
still managed to cram a fair bit of history in there!

We spent the last day of my trip in New York.
Philadelphia's skyline is quite good. So is London's.
But New York is just in a class of its own. Looking over
from New Jersey, it still took four photos to get it all in!
If you've ever imagined what New York is like around
Times Square and Broadway, you're probably right.
