Taylor and Debra Mipos were in charge of selling the taxi dances. Inflation being
what it is, 21st century taxi dances are $5 each. But it's all for a good cause.

Debra Mipos and Connie Pekedis organized the silent auction, and Connie created
advertising for the fund raiser. We got amazing donations of items and
services, including a chekere (above, right) autographed by the members of Ozomatli
(Kate's favorite band). To everyone who donated time, food, items, services and
money, and to everyone who came and put the "fun" in the fund raiser, many
thanks!
