Jump Pegs To Finish With One Peg by DG (V1.7)
Please click on a colored peg (one of the non-black circles) to move it.
Directions:
- Objective of game is to finish with fewest pegs on board.
- If you can finish with just 1 peg, you are a genius!
- The more pegs you finish with, the dumber you are!
- You mouse click on a peg to move it.
- If the peg cannot move, nothing happens. Try Hint mode to help!
- The New button, will start a new game.
- When no more pegs can be moved, you will see "Game Over!" and your rating (genius, etc.).
- Pegs are colored circles, while black circles are empty peg-holes.
- Pegs move in 3 possible directions, 2 diagonal ways, or horizontal.
- Pegs can only jump an adjacent peg to land in an empty hole.
- When a peg jumps over an adjacent peg, it captures it, just like in checkers.
- If the peg that you clicked on can only be moved one way, that move will be made automatically.
- If the peg that you clicked on can jump over two or more adjacent pegs, then those adjacent pegs will turn RED, and you must click on a RED peg to complete the move.
- The Hint button will turn on Hints. The !Hint button will turn off hints.
- In Hint mode, the BLUE pegs are the ONLY pegs that can be moved, while the GREEN pegs cannot be moved.
- In Hint if you see a white * in a BLUE peg, it means that it can jump 2 or more different adjacent pegs.
- The Custom button allows you to cusomize a new game. When you click on it, you will see a screen of all pegs. You now click on a circle to select the empty hole to start the game.
- The Undo button will undo the last move. Unlimited depth for undo. IF you win the game, you can click the UNDO button repeatedly, and record the peg numbers to record how you won the game.
- Pegs are numbered 1, {2, 3}, {4, 5, 6}, {7, 8, 9, 10}, {11, 12, 13, 14, 15} in normal word-wrap layout.
Colors:
- BLACK = means empty peg-hole.
- GREEN = peg. In Hint Mode, a peg that cannot be moved.
- BLUE = peg. In the Hint Mode, a peg that can be moved.
- RED = peg. A peg that must be jumped over to finish the move.
- WHITE = dot. In Hint mode, a small white dot inside a BLUE peg means that this peg can jump over two or more adjacent pegs.
