Charmaine has always had a fascination with Tiffany and Co. accessories.
The 26th of July 2003, it was a great summer afternoon. The sun was
bright, the weather was perfect. I asked Charmaine to accompany me to
the mall in Walnut Creek. I parked at the far side of the mall near the corner of
South Main St. and Mt. Diablo Blvd. I brought her to the Tiffany and Co. store
and told her -- "I would like to formalize our engagement today, pick your
ring. I do hope I'm worth your wait."
Charmaine smiled and I got the hug of my life.
