Denis & Ginny began Square Dancing in 1968 and started Rounds the following year. They began cueing and teaching the Round of the Month in 1972.

In 1975 they took a 5 year hiatus from Round & Square Dancing while teaching Social Ballroom Dancing for the Ed Cheney Dance System locally and on the Sitmar Cruise Lines. In 1980 they returned to Rounds & Squares.

Denis & Ginny are members of Roundalab and have attended the Wayne Wyley Round Dance Teachers Institute and seminars with the Rothers, the Palmquists, and the Proctors. They have also attended various other clinics including Roundalab and the Universal Round Dance Council conventions and a seminar on Ballroom Dancing at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

They have choreographed over 55 Round Dances, a number of which have received national recognition.

They have showcased and taught dances of their own choreography at the National Conventions in Anaheim, Salt Lake City, and Portland.

Denis is currently cueing for two square dance clubs and they cue & teach for one Round Dance club, dancing through Phase 6.

Ginny is a Square Dance Caller and although she is not presently calling, has been a member of Callerlab, and has called for 2 Square Dance clubs.

Denis & Ginny have been the featured Caller & Cuer for a number of festivals throughout Washington State and have cued for a number of Round Dance Festivals in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. They also did a Waltz clinic for the Oregon Round Dance Teachers Association.
