Directions
From Schuylkill Expressway (from East and South): Exit at City Line Ave US 1. Take US 1 South ~1 mile to Conshohocken State Rd. and make a right; Conshohocken State makes a 90 degree turn left (stay on road!) and soon turns into Montgomery Avenue. Continue ~2 miles past 90 degree turn and the HS is on the right, about 300 yards after the light at Penn Rd/Cherry Lane. Park in back.
From Blue Route (from North and West): Take Exit 13 "Villanova", Route 30. Go East on Rt. 30 ~4 miles to Church Rd (after downtown Ardmore) Go Left on Church until the 1st light, which is Montgomery. Make right on Montgomery and immediate left into school; park in back.
Alt from Blue Route heading South from Turnpike (from North and West): Take Exit 15, "Conshohocken". Go left onto 23 West. 2nd Light is Montgomery Ave - make a left. School is several miles (4+ ?) ahead on the left. Make left into parking lot - park in the back.

Entry Fee: $12 but only if ALL correct info and $$ (USCF and EF) postmarked on or before 10/26, including USCF renewals; $25 after (so if your USCF is expired and you enter by Oct 26 don't send in renewal information and $$, the entry charge is $25).
No exceptions!! Hardship and special entries must be arranged and received by Oct 26. If you do not send all correct info (see below), you may be charged the entire $25.
Late Registration: 9 AM to 9:30 AM 11/5 in cafeteria - 1st round ~ 10 AM
Pairings will be made on Saturday night, so if you register on Sunday 11/5 you likely will be given a first round half-point bye, at the TD discretion.
Also, if you know someone in your group cannot make it, please call (do not e-mail!) Dan Heisman at 610-649-0750 before 8 PM Saturday night 11/4 to qualify for the full refund, Nov 5. Post 10/26 substitutes are charged the full $25 rate.

Unless otherwise posted, all USCF rules apply. For example, players who know how to keep score must do so until either side has five minutes remaining. Players who do not know how to keep score (or barely and struggle) should practice at home, but of course do not have to keep score until they know how.

This was always the policy on this web page and the official USCF TLA, flyer, etc. Entrants whose money is received after Oct 26 but who only paid $12 will be asked for the additional $13 to be paired. Thanks for your understanding (I have to draw the line somewhere).
New USCF members below will/have been submitted to the USCF online to receive membership ID's. So any new ID's below will be your official ones!
Note 2: You do NOT have to be on your school's "real" chess team to be on their team for this event! Anyone from a school can be on that school's team even if the school actually have a team and you are not on it.
Note 3: If you are registered and cannot make the event, please notify the TD (610-649-0750) and by USCF rule you are entitled to a refund minus a processing fee ($5). Also, a SUBSTITUTION fee will be charged on Sunday morning if your team replaces you with someone else.
