You can provide expertise and assistance in engine and chassis rebuilds and maintenance, or choose from a list of necessary parts and equipment. The team is also looking for sponsors of individual races who would cover the cost of a single race. If you or your business offer products or services useful to a karting team, you can lend 2K Racing a hand. In return for sponsorship, 2K Racing will do any of the following. If something not on this list would help you as a sponsor, feel free to suggest it to us! We are willing to accommodate your trade or return for sponsorship. Advertisement: Put your name and information on our web page (linking to your web page if you have one) Display a sticker or banner of your logo or business name on kart, in pits, or on transporter at practices and races Race announcements on radio, TV, or newspaper will also include mention of your sponsorship 2K Racing members will mention you to others whenever we get a chance Free stuff: Admissions tickets or hot pit passes to our races Pictures of the 2K staff with our kart or karts Display our karts at your site to attract customers Our Current Sponsors 2K Racing now has four sponsors. Betty Koenig was a single-race sponsor, covering the cost of one race (10 March 2002). Another sponsor, Custom Color Coating, painted our #25 kart for us with their powder coating techniques. Third, Don and Nancy Corkrum fronted the cost of our gas for the last portion of the 2002 season. Finally, Dan Koenig has provided us with some much-needed funds for various parts. Thanks to them! Also, although not an official sponsor, 2K Racing would like to thank Don Holmbe of Competition Motors Corp. (CMC) for his generous advice and for always being there with the parts we need. CART — Site of the Championship Auto Racing Team, the fastest professional race cars. Competition Motors Corp. — CMC is a go-kart and accessory retailer and fabricator located in Portland, Oregon. Don Holmbe of CMC has been invaluable to the 2K team, and his store is well worth supporting. Portland Karting — this is the web home of the Portland Karting Association, containing information on them and their track in McMinnville, Oregon, another place 2K Racing has competed.
