My interest in aquarium keeping began early, with a 8th grade science fair project, “Potential of Chlorella Algae as a Food Source” which meant a ten gallon glass box of pea-green soup. My grandmother thought I was just not taking care of my tank. As a youngster I lived close to the water and was always bringing home hermits and starfish and trying to keep them alive. Later I got my NAUI divers permit and enjoyed exploring coral reefs in many areas around the world. As an adult I moved to Panama City Beach Florida to continue my career as an industrial water chemist and had the great opportunity to begin my adventures in marine reef keeping. This Site will help share my interests and experiences in this hobby and hopefully encourage others to pursue a fascinating hobby in a responsible manner. |

I added another tomato clown, the first turned female, and now they spend most of their time hanging out in the Sarco and performing spawning dances |

This is one of my first fish, a tomato clownfish, hosting in my first coral, a long tentacled Sarcophyton. |
