Welcome to Dan's Itinerary! A "Where I may be, maybe" weekly itinerary, preceded by a short piece of fiction. I hope you enjoy! A Pre-History Conceived in 2002, Dan's Itinerary started as a weekly one-sentence notice of my intended locations for each week. This was then was e-mailed to our receptionists who often lamented about all the boring itineraries they received. I started embellishing my itineraries with some general wordplay and jokes to make them more interesting. At first I wrote a short commentary for each day, then realized that one particular commentary read like a short story. I decided to try preceding each itinerary with an actual short story. I was able to save most of the stories written during that hectic time, however many were lost. You can read the ones I saved on the archives link. I've resisted the strong urge to go back and fix the grammar and spelling mistakes contained in the stories. They were usually written in cramped planes, crowded airports and in the wee hours of the morning when I couldn't sleep due to my hotel room being near an all night noise source. (Hint: Always ask where the hotel clerk has you and never sleep adjacent to a stairwell...if you want to sleep.)
Current Conditions The latest itinerary may not be up to date, depending on my availability of free time and when you access it. The itineraries are written weekly for now. This is subject to change, as always.
