I bought this bike in early 2009. It's a 2005 model with 3000
miles on it. It came with Pirelli MT21 tires, Acerbis hand guards, and a
Suzuki rear fender rack. |
 |
It was pouring down rain when I bought it. Once the weather cleared up
and I started to clean it up, I found that most of the plastics have been
repainted. It's definately not in the 'showroom' condition that the seller
made out. I'm still happy with it, although I'm sure I did pay a bit too
much.

Just like everything I buy, I can't stand to leave it stock.
In this photo you can see that I've added Thumpertalk case savers and skid
plate, as well as Unibiker radiator guards. |
 |
The battery was draining due to not riding it much in the cold weather,
so I bought a battery tender. I zip tied the connection to the battery,
with the lead out the back. This allows me to hook the bike up to the
tender without removing any body panels.

We bought a used MXHauler to hook the bike to the back of
our Jeep. |
 |
I've read posts from people that say the don't get pulled
over for obstruction of the license plate. I hope the state patrol in our
area is as forgiving! |
 |
The MXHauler seems to work fine, but this was just a dry run
to make sure everything fit right. As of writing this, we haven't used it
yet. |
