This was a pain to clean. I tried several things, but magic eraser was the only one that seemed to get into all the small pits to get the wax off.

The reproduction pieces are such good quality, if I had to do it again I wouldn't bother cleaning. I'll probably end up replacing it anyway, but at least it looks decent now.

The marquee panel is much smoother, so it cleaned of a lot easier. I still had to use a toothpick to get the wax out of all the little speaker grill holes.

Now this was a suprise. While I was checking the dip switch settings (all on defaults), I found this text: Test M OCT 14 1981. What's the significance? That just happens to have been my 16th birthday!
