Comments: This beautiful galaxy swirls at a distance of some 3 million light years and is gravitationally bound to our local group of galaxies. It contains one of the largest H-II regions in the known universe (NGC 604) visible at the 4 o'clock position in one of the main spiral arms. Thanks Nils...© Dave Dockery 2007
