Exposure: Auto exposure - 1/250 to 1/40 sec.
Focus: Camera set to infinity, focused with telescope at max zoom using sunspots
Zoom: 8mm (no zoom)
Camera F-Number: F/5.1
ISO Speed: ISO-100
Telescope: Celestron 8" Celestar f/10
Filter: Home built Baader solar filter
Processing: Blue level reduced using the curves tool in PhotoShop. Medium unsharp mask applied.
Location: My backyard in Las Cruces, NM

Comments: This is a composite of images taken during the eclipse. The camera was set for auto-exposure and it slowed the shutter speed as the eclipse progressed. This was a problem and caused saturation in the most eclipsed images. For the next eclipse, I will set the exposure level based on the full sun and switch to manual mode and leave it for the duration.© Dave Dockery 2002
