Abu Simbel, Aswan

Selected pictures of Abu Simbel, two temples built by Egypt's longest ruling pharaoh, King Ramses II.  These are the temples that were moved by UNESCO to escape the rising water from the Aswan high dam, creating Lake Nassar.
