Nuclear Q&A - Answers to common questions: What about radiation? What about waste? Why couldn't Chernobyl happen in the U.S.? Alternative Energy Sources - what about Solar? Wind? Fuel Cells? Electric Cars - The personal transportation of the future. Reduce Impact - Are you concerned about the inherent dangers in any power generation technology? Try consuming less! Nuclear power is far from perfect - but the major thing that makes it a viable power generation technology today is its comparison to coal power. The majority of U.S. power is generated by coal. The silence from major environmental groups is deafening. In fact, coal power is inferior to nuclear in *every* way, from human deaths, to CO2 release, radiation release, etc. We use too much power to afford to pander to the scientifically illiterate by continued use of coal. <more coming> If you have questions, comments, praise, or criticism for these pages, I'd love to hear it.
