Cement Based DIY Live Rock (Agarocrete) Curing Log.

The 100 lbs of rock sculptures I created were placed in an old plastic Child's swimming pool and covered with tap water. A power head was also placed in the pool to circulate water. for the first four weeks water was replaced 3 to four times a week. No PH readings were taken during this time. Readings began at week 4 and where recorded the day after each water change. Curing began the last week of June.

At week 8 selected pieces of rock were moved to the tank to build the base rock structured. Rock was cured for an aditional 2 weeks in tank with fresh water before adding salt. Week 10 and 11 are with salt.
