I now own 24 of their albums and will see them in concert for the 17th time in Dallas next week! Yes, I am a loyal and maybe crazy fan but they still push all the right buttons... I get chills everytime I hear them. I especially love their early stuff - pre-Kiss on My List - and their later stuff - Marigold Sky is GREAT!!! The web pages are fun to look at... love the out of the ordinary pictures!!! |

It had been 10yrs since I last saw them live, and it felt the exact same as when I was 17yrs old! I was on the edge of my seat and everything just deing over Daryls voice! Such a neat night! Who knew? Actually , I thought the CD was cleverly done, just wish I could get royalties. Oh well, I still have the suits and still wear them with my present band when we do oldies. |

In all honesty, (and I realize my opinion is important to me only) I feel that Marigold Sky has the potential of really bringing these two favorite artists of mine, back to where they should be. I don't think the marketing of the c.d. was as intense as it should have been...never saw video clips of the new stuff on MTV or VH 1..Didn't see lots of action on lots of shows other than Good Morning America (good music for so early in the am) and Rupaul...Just didn't see lots of exposure..Daryl and John were here in New Orleans at the House of Blues, and I didn;t see anyone from their label here to even represent them.. Anyway, I hope the marketing gets better in the good old USA and that Japan doesn't beat us at loving them better!!! A long time fan |

As for the guest appearances of H&O band members, here are a few more. T-Bone appears on the new album by The Family Stand, entitled "Connected." Daryl is also thanked in the liner notes for this disc, although he does not appear. T-Bone and Mickey Curry both play on the "King of America" lp and "Blue Chair" single released by Elvis Costello in '86. Their performances rule! T-Bone is also on the Costello lps "Spike" and "Mighty like a Rose." Mike Braun appears on "Another Grey Area" and "Steady Nerves," both by Graham Parker. Charlie DeChant is on the "Ruffin and Kendrick" album, as is T-Bone. All of these are great albums -- and I didn't even buy them because of the Hall and Oates related content!
