Chela (cropped ears) was
a runaway in Sacramento, CA and was placed with us through Doberman Rescue. She was highly intelligent and constantly 'on'. Maggie was
rescued from the Contra Costa County, CA Pound where she was on death row. Maggie was a low-keyed sweetie and always everyone's favorite.
These were numbers 3 and 4 in our dobie legacy and all have been rescue dogs. Chela
and Maggie had all the standard
dobie characteristics. They - were incredibly devoted, thought they would melt in
the rain, anticipated that every car ride terminated at the park,
attached like velcro, were too smart for their own good, lived for
their cookies, and behaved like puppies until the last days of their lives. They were well looked after and they are missed.
