Yes, it's hard to believe but this car had only 2,800 original miles when I purchased it about 4 years ago.  It's complete history is unknown other than it's first owner was Harold E. Cobb who lived in Livingston, Montana.  The mileage has been verified by the second owner, Greg Nichol of Great Falls, Montana.  The car was obviously maintained in a climate-controlled garage and apparently only driven on special occasions.  It now has about 5,400 miles mainly from driving to car shows.

I have researched the paint and it's Chevrolet Duco #210, which is black lacquer.  Chevrolet used lacquer on all their cars all the way up into the 80's.  The car was built in Janesville, Wisconsin which makes sense for a car that was shipped to Montana.

Everything on the car is correct but now has a 12 volt alternator and HEI electronic ignition.  I've also updated the brake system and changed out the original style corded ply tires with radials (big difference). The three top left hand pictures are the newest and have the highest resolution.

For further information on those of you are involved in a restoration or need additional detailed photos of any other parts of the car please contact me by email at the address below.

Please send me any links on similar 37' or 38' Chevy web sites so I can add them as a resource.
