MONTCLAIR JEWELERS HISTORY

Since 1963 this second-generation jewelry store has served the East Bay area, and has always offered a selection of fine jewelry for the entire family.  Montclair Jewelers offers you personal attention, fine quality jewelry, sound ethical business practices, and above all, places your satisfaction as their primary goal.    

Montclair Jewelers located at 2083 Mountain Blvd. Oakland, California 94611 is a full service jewelry store and is a long-standing member of the American Gem Society.  Founded in 1963 by Joseph Coll, his wife Blanca, and their son David, Montclair Jewelers has continued to grow and serve the community, and its fine jewelry needs.  To secure their store’s future in the Montclair District, Joseph and Blanca purchased the building and remodeled it in the rustic style that is typical of this quaint little village area, nestled in the Oakland Hills.

 For your appraisal needs Montclair Jewelers have Certified Gemologist Appraisers and an Accredited Gem Laboratory.  This means you will receive an appraisal performed by a Certified Gemologist who has been fully trained in appraisal techniques, and that your jewelry will be inspected in a fully equipped laboratory, that has been certified by the American Gem Society.

Our jewelers can custom design a new ring, bracelet or other fine jewelry in gold or platinum.  We can restore an old ring and bring back the beauty it once enjoyed or, we can use those same diamonds to make a new ring.

 We carry 14k, 18k, palladium and platinum wedding bands, engagement rings, watches, gemstone earrings and rings, 14k, silver charms, gold chains, earrings and pendants, cultured pearls, lockets, crosses, bracelets and bead necklaces.  Montclair Jewelers also offers bead restringing, ear piercing, engraving, and watch repairs.
