Hand-turned wood fiber tools
A Twist On Wood is a small, home-based business. As a fiber artist and wood turner, I work hard to create the kinds of tools that I enjoy using.
I enjoy using and making tools from woods that have interesting grain, graceful lines, and work as well as they look.
I begin with quality woods, then carefully study grain lines, patterns, and colors before selecting a section that will become a spindle whorl or other fiber tool.
