Inside views:

Standing in garage door, looking through great room to hall.
The horizontal 2x4's are 10 feet from the floor,
and the ceiling will be attached to the sloped rafters.


Working on the great room:

The scaffold is about 6 feet off the floor, on lockable casters.
The white hose attaches my Porter Cable Quicksand to the central vac.
The odd loking grey thing in the lower right is a 250 Watt Metal Halide flood light.
Eqivalent to a 1200 Watt incandescent light bulb, except daylight color.
The black thing on the ceiling is a 1 Watt Luxeon LED that runs from the battery
backup syustem for the smoke detectors. It lights the whole room with about moonlight
bright white light, automatically turns on when dark in the room.
There are about 150 copies of the repeating pattern.
The main floor is red oak, the zig zag is walnut, the thin strip is ash.
GRK 4x40 trim head screws are good for fastening the first strips, and when too close to walls for nailing. Especially when you don't want to hit the radiant floor heating...
