MIDI Piano 16' long, 4 Octaves, Polyphonic. The keys use an electronic touch sense circuit to trigger a MIDI encoder. There are no moving parts. Both black & white keys play, the white ones light up also.

We built an extension on the front of the stage to bring the front edge closer to the audience. We made the elevator with 4 electric car jacks to raise the piano out of the floor. 8 Tech crew members carried the covers away once the piano was in position.

One of the 12 sensor & light PC boards. A QT240 sends a signal to a relay driver to light the key, and to a mkc-x MIDI encoder to trigger the note. I designed the boards with CADSTAR Express, and ordered them from PCB fabExpress.
