Game controller for NASCAR Racing 4.
This is a work in progress.
Step 1: Install Papyrus NASCAR Racing 4 on the computer.
Step 2: Get a car. I used a Subaru Loyale, because I have a bunch of them.
Step 3: Remove the un-necessary components.
Step 4: Begin interfacing with the game controller inputs:

Gas pedal linked to 1 to 2.5 Meg ohm pot. The pot will only turn about 30 degrees,
so the normal range (0-100K) will be seen by the game port.
The brake pedal is connected using the brake light switch (for now).

In place of the standard rack and pinion steering box, I have attached a 0-100K pot.
I found various vinyl and automotive hose to fit both the shaft of the pot, and the shaft
that previously went to the pinion.
The tubing can slip if the wheel is turned too far
and saves the pot from shearing the stops if the user gets too excited.
