This butlers table is based from one that we bought from a mail order catalog. It's made from red oak and has solid brass hinges. The legs have "V" grooves on the outer faces and the corners are chamfered. The cross stretcher is connected to the leg stretchers with a dovetail joint. This is one of my earlier projects.
